In celebration of Prince Harry’s first year as a father, Meghan Markle releases a children’s book “The Bench” based on a poem written by Meghan for her husband.
Meghan Markle is making her debut as an author for her new children’s book “The Bench” based on Prince Harry’s relationship with their son, Archie. The book grew from Meghan’s poem she wrote for her husband Prince Harry on their first Father’s Day following Archie’s birth.
Meghan explains she transformed the poem into a story for the new children’s book that the whole family can enjoy. “The Bench” was written by Meghan with watercolor illustrations by award-winning artist Christian Robinson with a story featuring a diverse group of fathers and sons sharing moments together.
Meghan wanted to create an inclusive story for all families featuring father-son relationships from all walks of life that all form a special bond. The new book launched June 8 to make a great Father’s Day gift and is one of many projects to come from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. “the Bench” is a highly recommended children’s book with rave reviews and sweet moments from Meghan herself.
